Joe Nugent - Branch Chairman

Joe Nugent resides in Litherland and is the current chairman of UKIP's South Sefton branch.  A qualified teacher and engineer, he operates his own electronics company.  He is excited to be working for a fast-growing, dynamic and common sense party; whose passion is to protect the interests of the British public and the United Kingdom.

Pat Gaskell - Branch Secretary and Netherton and Orrell Ward Spokeswoman

Pat Gaskell is a former journalist and has worked in the insurance and gambling industries.  A vegetarian and animal lover, she has campaigned against vivisection and blood sports, and is involved with wildlife charities devoted to saving endangered species.

Paul Nuttall - Derby Ward Spokesman

Paul works as an assistant to John Whittaker MEP. Prior to taking up this role, he was employed as a lecturer at Hugh Baird College and Liverpool Hope University. He formed the UKIP South Sefton Branch in January 2005 and has taken an active role in Bootle politics since 2002.

Peter Harper - Molyneux Ward Spokesman

Born and raised in Aintree Village, educated at Aintree Davenhill and at Maghull High schools - Old Hall High School, as it was – where he now serves as a School Governor, Peter has served on Aintree Village Parish Council and on other local bodies for several years, having been drawn into local politics by the Paradox nightclub issue (which blighted so many of our lives at the time).
